Leon leased his first land for grazing cattle in 1979 at age 17. His sole occupation has been the cattle business (cow/calf). Leon’s goal through the years has been quality. Using the best technology available, Leon has steadily increased the genetics of his cattle, generation after generation. This beef is the result of many years of hard work and dedication. Ronin Cooking is a catering company based on Don Ganter’s old place in Bryan. It makes great use of the facilities to host monthly dinners and catered events. Much of the food served is grown onsite. The farm’s dinners are open to the public, tickets are sold in advance on the site. They also have farm tour days throughout the year. Ronin Cooking plans to open a restaurant more accessible to the public on a regular basis in 2017 in Downtown Bryan’s Ice House Redevelopment.
